More than 60 people participated today in the Day of Motivation Entrepreneurship in Rural Tourism (20/02/2015)

Over 60 people participated today in the Day of Motivation Entrepreneurship in Rural Tourism, by the Murcia Organization of Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals in the Region of Murcia (OMEP) driven, in collaboration with the Department of Equality, to encourage business development in the field of tourism.

The opening of the conference, has been in charge of the mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, who along with the president of OMEP, Manuela Marín, and the delegate of the OMEP in Jumilla, Pilar Corredor, have been responsible for giving the output this initiative, which leaves a balance, a significant share of people interested in the economic development of rural tourism.

The mayor stressed "is a very interesting Jornada, because increasingly, Jumilla moving towards tourism, and so understand it as an economic engine for the city, in which a large part is definitely dedicated to rural areas".

The president of the OMEP, Manuela Marín, has highlighted as "one of our objectives is to promote women entrepreneurship and help entrepreneurs in their professional development, as the family conciliation still puts it in a different position than men in business development. To this end, we organize training workshops, seminars, ongoing counseling, and business plans for all women who want to start a business ".

Also, it has emerged as Jumilla is the first town in having a delegation of OMEP, which will be headed by Pilar Corredor, in order to boost activity and the Organization in other municipalities in the region.

Pilar Corredor meanwhile thanked the trust placed in him to lead the delegation of OMEP in Jumilla.

"Not only do we intend it to be a meeting point for women entrepreneurs and women professionals Jumilla, but to show our support to all those women who want to start and do not know how to start. This is accompanied those jumillanas entrepreneurs to advance and get open great ways for women to Jumilla, and ultimately for the region. "

In the conference participated Cristina Carmona, psychologist and coaching;

lawyer Carmen Muñoz, who has addressed issues such as self-employment and the first steps to take and José Poveda, Bilnea company, explained the new technologies applied business models in the tourism sector.

Jumillano businesswoman Elena Pacheco, manager of Bodegas Viña Elena, has been commissioned to conclude the conference, transmitting experience as an example of successful case.
