Ecovidrio collects over 3,500 kg during the special campaign of the National Conference of Drum and Bass Drum (24/03/2015)

Jumilla again demonstrates its sensitivity to recycling, in the special campaign developed by Ecovidrio during the National Conference of Exaltation of Drum and Bass Drum, held in Jumilla, where the "ecopatrullas" managed to collect more than 3,500 kg of glass may be recycled.

A total of ten people, toured the central area of ​​activity all day Saturday, with buckets for collecting glass waste generated during the celebration, in addition to reporting on the importance of recycling correctly.

Also a stand and a photocall, where they spent hundreds of drummers and drummers also photographed with the slogan "Make some noise, recycled glass" campaign was installed, sheets and scarves were carried apart from information, action and importance of properly recycling packaging waste glass generated.

Moreover, Ecovidrio lettered six containers of glass, which were located in areas of greatest influx of population, "drummers recyclers" dressed drum included.

Also, Ecovidrio offered a pick 'door to door' to all those establishments in Canovas del Castillo who applied, so that recycling was provided in bars and cafés.

The mayor and councilman of Environment, Enrique Jimenez, stressed the importance of such campaigns to continue raising awareness of local people and visitors, about the need for recycling.

He also thanked the involvement of Ecovidrio, in this type of specific campaigns, and continued actions that the entity develops throughout the year, "an important task that we must acknowledge and thank".
