Jumilla City Council observed a minute's silence in memory of the victims of the plane crash in the Alps (25/03/2015)

Jumilla City Council this morning kept a minute of silence as a sign of support to the families of the victims of the plane crash yesterday in Switzerland, where 150 people were killed, 45 of them including two Spaniards were Murcia.

The first deputy mayor, Alicia Abellán, led the minute of silence, which also have joined councilors, as well as numerous officials and employees of the City of Jumilla.

The Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) called on local authorities to would join this duel.

We have also declared three days of official mourning in memory of the victims.

The First Deputy Mayor, Alicia Abellán, noted "on behalf of the City of Jumilla, and that of all our people, we extend here our encouragement to all the families of the victims. The flags of our city will be half mast in mourning for this tragic accident. "
