Property owners throughout Jumilla eligible for financial assistance for rehabilitation edificatoria (17/04/2015)

Within the State Plan of Development of Rental Housing, the Rehabilitation in Buildings and Urban Regeneration and Renewal, 2013-2016, this morning, it was published in the BORM, the rules for the call for subsidies for rehabilitation in edificatoria Region of Murcia, assistance which may be accessed by all property owners of Jumilla.

Within this plan, the government provided several lines of action.

On one hand, the development of rental housing, on the other, regeneration and urban renewal, which is included only in the case of Jumilla, houses the Old Town and San Juan, and now have been published basis for the third measure of edificatoria rehabilitation, which will be eligible property owners throughout the site.

To access this line of support, the age of housing should be earlier than 1981;

plus at least 70% of its surface constructed above ground should be residential housing, and at least 70% of the houses have to be the usual residence of the owners or tenants.

As an exception basis contemplated or have serious property damage, structural or otherwise, to justify their inclusion in this, or have entirely destined rent, for at least 10 years from the receipt of aid .

The eligible actions in buildings that are directed at improving conservation and improving the quality and sustainability as well as accessibility.

Thus, be eligible actions aimed at remedying the deficiencies as the poor condition of the foundation, structure and facilities, roofs, facades and party walls or other common elements.

Also be eligible the proceedings conducted in public electrical, plumbing, gas, sanitation, waste collection and sorting and telecommunications, in order to adapt to current regulations.

Moreover, they also considered actions to provide reasonable accommodation in terms of accessibility, which suit the buildings and access to housing and local current regulations.

As for the amount of the grant, the maximum amount of grants shall not exceed 11,000 euros per dwelling and per 100 m2 of floor space locally, and 12,100 euros in the case of buildings declared cultural assets.

Thus is established, 2,000 euros for conservation actions.

In this case, if further actions are undertaken simultaneously to improve the quality and sustainability that are eligible, help conservation will increase by 1,000 euros, and another 1,000 euros more if further accessibility works are performed.

Also 2,000 euros for actions to improve the quality and sustainability, provided that reducing by 30% the total annual energy demand for heating and cooling the building or 5,000 euros maximum, if this is reduced by at least 50%.

Finally for actions to improve accessibility, 4,000 euros.

The amounts mentioned above may be increased by 10% in the case of buildings declared Cultural Interest.

In general, 35% of the protected budget for each type of action, and in the case of actions aimed at improving accessibility, 50% corresponding to this type of activity protected budget.

During the next days the call, after which time all homeowners will be published, will complete the applications to be submitted to the General Register of the Ministry responsible for Housing, or in Jumilla, through the window only.

About this call for aid, and those relating to the areas of San Juan and Old Town, the City has enabled a point of information in the Office of Works and Urban Development, located in Calle Juan Ramón Jiménez, in the municipal Hall.
