More than fifty women participate in the journey of coexistence organized by the Department of Equality to the Union Mining Park (25/05/2015)

The Department of Equality organized last week, a journey of coexistence, in which more than fifty women participated, accompanied by the Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellan, as part of the activities scheduled for the quarter.

The expedition set sail on Wednesday to address the Union Minas, where women learned about the different fields, a legendary route unionense mining.

The Mining Park of La Union is a privileged space of the Sierra Minera where you can discover the whole process of the old underground XIX silgo industry, with over 4,000 m2 of galleries.

The activity ended with a convivial meal, held in La Manga del Mar Menor.

Moreover Thursday, within the School Empowerment, took place a wine tasting by the winemaker, Elisa Navarro, which included nearly two dozen women who learned the characteristics of the wines of the variety Monastrell .

The next activity will be next Thursday, May 28, from 17.00 to 18.30 in the last session of the School of Empowerment, which will focus on efforts telematic everyday.

In addition, at 20.00, the Department has organized Cajamurcia, a talk on the occasion of the International Day for Action for Women's Health.

The talk will be in charge of Ana Herrero Bermejo, psychologist and master in sex and couple therapy, and will focus on female sexuality.

Moreover on Friday, from 11.00 to 12.00, the Equal program will be broadcast on the airwaves, on the local radio station Radio Jumilla.
