The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, and the Councillor for Social Policy, John Calabuig, formalized this morning an agreement with the Association of Physically Handicapped Jumilla, AMFIJU, with which transport services adapted for people with mobility limitations and ensure as the home help service in villages.
The agreement is contracted for an amount of 20,000 euros is for the financial year 2015. With it, the City Council is committed to funding through the Department of Social Policy, two programs with a budget of 4,000 euros spent on the project on home help districts, 13,500 euros for the transport of disabled and 2,300 euros for expenses.
The program helps address in districts will be provided Monday through Friday and will be an assistant hired to this purpose.
As for the second project, the service of transporting people with limited mobility will be held from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, so that will be collected to the beneficiaries in their homes or districts of the town, and will be transferred the place where they have to do health management, administrative or other measures.
They were then returned to their home with a maximum of 25 hours a week in the mornings preferred.
Social Worker will be the Program Coordinator Unit Aging and the Center for Social Service of the City of Jumilla that is responsible for coordinating and supervising project implementation ensuring normal development.
