Christmas Festivities had a cost of just over 15,000 euros (14/01/2016)

Christmas was a cost to the Department of Celebration of just over 15,000 euros, as stated by the mayor of the area, Cande Fernandez, at a press conference.

In that amount it includes the rental of the floats in the Three Kings, the Christmas lights, toys delivered, candy, costumes cleaning of the Kings, the opening concert, the opening speech and preventive security of the parade and sound editing.

Cande Fernandez also stressed that the year 2015 ended with an expense in the Department of 163,969.69 euros, while 80,000 euros had been budgeted.

He also stressed the figures for previous years, such as 2014, which amounted to 209,071.36 euros, "even though the budget was 52,150 euros."

Celebrations Councilwoman did look at the activities that have been conducted showing their satisfaction with the large number of people in all of them and grateful for the collaboration of the groups that have made them possible.

On the contrary he lamented the state in which he found the costumes of the Magi, "dirty and put in a plastic bag for two years".
