The City Council has almost 7,000 square feet of subsidized housing for young people (04/07/2008)

Jumilla Mayor Francisco Abellán has announced the construction of new subsidized housing (VPO) for youth.

To this end, the municipality of Jumilla has nearly 7,000 square meters to be offered to the Institute for Housing and Land in the Region of Murcia, Abellán reported.

The City Council gave the ground and the Institute for accommodation that makes hires and promotions, "to change the local authority receives the money that values the ground and holding it for the benefit of Jumilla actions," the highest local authority.

Furthermore Francisco Abellán reported in the San Francisco school, Ecisa Group, which already have all the necessary technical reports, will build 400 housing for young people.

These will take place in two phases and will be built in five blocks.

Abellán noted that "September is expected to approve the project and are constructed around three years."

Similarly, by the garden Juan Paco Baeza, which was the local old Dunia, they will spend two parcels of approximately 1,100 square meters also to create accommodation for young people.

Jumilla mayor has said that "with these figures because we were pioneers, and we remain a reference in the Murcia region in construction of such housing."
