The municipality of Jumilla, like other municipalities in the Region of Murcia, are, until 00:00 hours on 9 January, on orange alert for heavy snow.

It's information in a press release sent by the Emergency Department through the Regional Plan Prediction and Monitoring of adverse weather.

The Councillor for Citizen Security, Primitivo Gonzalez said that "all emergency services and law enforcement are coordinated and alerted to meet any situation."
