As of June sightseeing tours in Jumilla are every Sunday (13/01/2009)

This year, the Tourism Council of the City of Jumilla has prepared several new features to make known the city.

Guided tours, in principle, until June, will be every Sunday of the year, free of charge and with an official guide.

Those interested should register with the Office of Tourism and the output is from the Vico Theatre from 10:15 to 10:30 am.

Tourism Councilwoman Joan Guardiola has stated that it is "an excellent opportunity for foreign and Jumillano to know, from the hands of an expert in tourism, one of the buildings, monuments and corners of the city, whose history often unknown.

Will visit the various tourist routes, with a tour of the monuments, wineries in the Wine Route, museums, sites and landscapes of Jumilla.

In these activities, visit the Historic-Artistic Theatre for Vico, the Council building, the Museum Jerónimo Molina, the Artisan's House and the Gate of Granada, among others.

There will be tours of natural areas such as La Pedrera, where you can see rock art, ancient roads and quarry W Gorge Coimbra deposits of the era of the Iberians, the Hoya de la Sima where there are traces of prehistoric animals or the Monastery of Santa Ana

Visits will be different routes for each season and aimed at all audiences, but places are limited to 25.

In addition to collective groups and supply are available Tuesday through Saturday.
