The Mayor of Jumilla, Francisco Abellán and Social Policy Councilwoman Mariana Gómez accompanied by officials of the activity, have closed the Social Skills course has been developed in Jumilla.
The course was attended by 15 people and the purpose thereof was to provide basic social skills to be able to function in daily life.
The course has been offered by the company and Local Initiatives conducted by two psychologists.
It has been three weekly sessions from 9:30 to 12:30.
In the closing ceremony, Mariana Gómez Abellán thanked the participation of all, with the hope that "this course I have served a little utility to open your field of work."
Gomez also stressed the important involvement of the participants in all activities and reported that "in 2009 we hope to offer the second part of the course, level 2 to allow refine these skills."
For his part, Mayor Francisco Abellán said he has been a course that takes place between the municipality and autonomous region, with "the aim of training in management skills in this society that is becoming more difficult, competitive and complex. "
Abellán added that the government has a duty to "be corrected gradually, the difficulties that some may have against others, so that opportunities to reach everyone equally."
But besides this work of politicians, "people who participate in these courses is important to trust in themselves and in all its possibilities," added the mayor.
