Athletics track Polideportivo Municipal 'La Hoya' has been recently refurbished by the Department of Sports, as reported by Councilman José Luis Monreal.

The work consisted, first in a special machine leveling the surface of the door, and trastrillado removal of stones, machine roller compacted surface and filled with dirt track ultra and non-abrasive.

This action was carried out during the months of January and February and the cost of the work has had an amount of 1,150 euros, "this is the track record is strictly for athletics or popular race."

The revamped track will be released for the final Regional Cross organized by the Athletic Club Jumilla, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports to be held next February 22.

Sports Councilman emphasized that "these small adjustments will allow us to continue using the facility with the best guarantees for users popular clubs until we have a new arena of plastic surface projected for next year 2010."
