Councilman Celebrations in the City of Jumilla Ildefonso Jimenez has made an assessment of the Carnival 2009.

Believes that "the innovations that were introduced this year have been well received and have had great participation."

Ildefonso Jimenez says that "this year, Carnival in Jumilla has resurfaced and I think it will be a starting point to get a good carnival in future editions."

In its assessment, Councilman Celebrations thanked all the partnership and participation, in particular, the various councils that have worked for the successful conduct of the activities and the Neighborhood Association of Calvary Street, the association of childcare and the different schools.

Over several days, Jumilla different activities have taken place on the occasion of Carnival 2009.

Parades, competitions and activities for all ages and who have participated in many people.

The main developments this year were the parade Saturday night from the street until Calvary Avenue Levante (where he cut a section of the street) and the installation in that avenue, of what they called the 'Fiestodromo'.
