The councilman of Social Policy Mariana Gomez, accompanied by technicians of the Centre of Social Services did yesterday Awards Photo Contest organized on the occasion of Intercultural Week is being held in Jumilla.
The first prize of 300 euros, went to José Roberto Pichasaca Aguayza, second, $ 200, Isabel López Mazanares and the third, worth $ 100 went to Mohammed Guenfoud.
The winning photo is a time of agricultural work, closely related to Jumilla and develop many of the immigrants settled in the town.
The second prize is a closeup of a South American girl is on to future generations and their integration into society and the third prize is a sample of paint in one hand gena, very representative of the Arab culture.
The awards were presented at a ceremony held at Caja Murcia and was led by Pedro José Pérez.
After the delivery, Mariana Gomez thanked everyone for their attendance and participation in this contest as well as the activities that make up this week Intercultural 'Sign in Cultures 2009'.
In this call there have been a total of 12 participants and all works will be exhibited at the exhibition hall of Caja Murcia until 31 March, 18:30 to 20:30 hours Monday to Friday.
Intercultural Week continues on Monday March 30, from 20:00 pm there will be a 'VideoForum' with a screening of the film '14 km 'and the 31st, at 18:30 will be carried out 'Storyteller'.
