Hinneni group will conduct an introductory course to caving (02/04/2009)

Sports Councilman José Luis Monreal, Hinneni Group President Juan Antonio Martínez and course director Vicente Guardiola have submitted the Course of Introduction to Caving to be developed in Jumilla.

It is organized by the Hinneni and has the support of the Sports Department.

Will take place the last two weekends of April and May and the first entries may be made to e-mail info@grupohinneni.es or PO Box 158.

To participate in the course are limited to 20 places and can target people over 16 years.

The Sports Council is working with the reduction of 50% share to the participants of Jumilla.

Monreal said that "Hinneni Group has a long tradition in terms of Speleology, but never had an approved course of its kind and is a great opportunity."

Course dates are 18, 19 and 24, April 25 and May 9 and can be booked on Fridays from 20:00 to 22:00 hours and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 to 14:00 from 16:00 to 20:00 h.

The place of delivery of the classes will be at the headquarters of the Group Hinneni, practices are held at the Sierra del Molar and caves practices will be held in the cave of Portichuelo.

The last day of the course will practice in the cave of El Pozo, one of the most important of Jumilla and longer in distance.

The course is limited to 20 students and is open to people over 16 years.

The fees for this course will be: for people who are federated in any sport of Mountain and Caving are 80 euros for non-federal and are 100 euros.

In addition to residents in Jumilla will save 50%.

Teachers of this course are all sports coaches and sports initiatives Murcia School of Speleology and as the agenda of the course will discuss the organization and history of Speleology both state, regional and local levels.

To obtain the diploma requires 80% attendance of lectures and pass the final exam.
