A total of 225 children have attended the playgrounds that have developed this week in Jumilla (17/04/2009)

A total of 225 children aged between 3 and 12 years participated in the playgrounds that have developed this week in Jumilla, since children were in the period after the Easter holiday.

This toy library, taught by 16 instructors, is part of the program being developed Concilia the Department of Women and Children of the council and, according to its director, Oliver Fuensanta aims "to provide activities for children whose parents work."

The playgrounds have been carried out in the facilities of schools Our Lady of the Assumption, Miguel Hernandez and Carmen Conde.

Maria Antonia Simon, coordinator of the program have indicated that these playgrounds have been carried out different activities like group games, reconciliation workshops, workshops on gender violence prevention, prevention workshop drawings and psychological behaviors, among others.

As a culminating activity have been a week of living in the Garden of King Don Pedro.

Maria Antonia Simon also noted that "parents also are happy and wanted to continue doing those playgrounds at other times of year."

Both Fuensanta Maria Antonia Olivares and Simon have appreciated the work of all the technicians and workers of the council as well as the departments of Personnel and Services, janitors and cleaners and principals and teachers in the schools where they have developed.

Finally, the Women and Children councilor noted that "the most important toy library, as the number of children and budget, summer is the toy library, which is funded by the drug dependency program of the Department of Social Services and the that the council's Children is a small contribution of city money in order to accommodate children's children. "
