Representatives of the Association of Rural Women in the districts of Las Jumillano Encebras, La Torre del Rico and the Fuente del Pino met recently with Mayor Francisco Abellán Jumilla.
The purpose of this meeting was to maintain a touchdown and explore possible collaboration between these groups and local government.
Abellán explained that "this meeting, I moved the activities they intend to develop in 2009, to coordinate dates and see how the Council can help, both technically and economically."
They also showed their interest in the procedure for requesting assistance for conferences, lectures, exhibitions and other initiatives throughout this year.
The representatives of these associations explain the highest local authority intentions that are, as well as "the great illusion that they are putting in order to work in support of women in the rural areas."
Francisco Abellán also has also reported that "the Association of Rural Women in The Encebras have invited the council to a meal-coexistence that will take place on 16 May for approval of the statutes and the registration of this association municipal registration of associations of Jumilla.
