The secretary of state for sport show, this Saturday, the book "History of Jumilla CF 'Juan José Melero and Jose Garcia (26/05/2009)

The Secretary of State for Sport, Jaime Lissavetzky, will be responsible for presenting this Saturday the book "History of Jumilla Football Club - 80 years of passion", authored by Juan José Melero and Jose Garcia, as reported in a statement press.

The book, published by Seven Days newspaper Jumilla, will be available at the end of the presentation and also in bookshops in the town from next week.

Jaime Lissavetzky Diez (Madrid, 1951) was appointed chairman of the Higher Sports Council with the rank of Secretary of State by the government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero in April 2004.

He has a PhD in chemistry from the University Complutense of Madrid, where he was awarded the Medal of Honor.

A professor at the University of Alcalá de Henares.

His career in politics happens by the Community of Madrid, which was Minister of Education, Culture and Sport between 1985 and 1995 during the administrations of Joaquin Leguina.

It was also secretary general of the Socialist Federation of Madrid, a spokesman for the Socialist Group in the Madrid Assembly and Senate in the sixth legislature.

'History of Football Club Jumilla - 80 years of passion' is a book without precedent in the city in 380 pages makes a thorough review of the eight decades of life Jumilla Football Club.
