The newspaper Seven Days has confirmed the prize awarded to the Association Jumilla Wine Route.
It is about awards that are awarded annually to different groups and local people with which to recognize the work and the work they do for the benefit of the municipality.
In the case of the Association Jumilla Wine Route, the prize is as' Ambassador of Jumilla. "
The Councillor for Tourism, Jane Guardiola has welcomed this award which is "the social recognition of the Wine Route Association and the effort that is being conducted for several years for the enhancement of the tourism product."
The Association Jumilla Wine Route is made by the City Council, the Council of the Designation of Origin Jumilla wines and many wineries and tourist establishments and related to the sector.
Throughout the year the association conducts a number of important activities, including Cycle Music Among Wine and Food Week, which cooperates with the said council.
The Jumilla Wine Route is part of the product Wine Routes of Spain, consisting of 17 wine tourism destinations (including Jumilla), grouping more than 160 municipalities and about 700 businesses.
The awards in different categories will be announced shortly, will be awarded during a ceremony to be held on Friday, July 3 at the Theatre de Jumilla Vico, and coincides with the 100th edition of the weekly.
