The folk evening with the group and Curro Piñana Azarbe brought traditional music to the square of Jumilla Top (19/08/2009)

On Sunday, Plaza de Arriba, in the heart of Old Town Folk hosted the evening with the group and singer Curro Azarbe Piñana brought traditional music to Jumilla.

Azarbe, is a group of folk-inspired popular music ensembles in the southeast Spanish, crews.

Initial components come mostly from the scope of traditional music and therefore fairly well mastered the language of country music strings and the variety of instruments to interpret.

Along with this, the development and progression of training, the experience of having fought in other groups and about a hundred concerts have enabled us to look at other issues that other regions or approaching Mediterranean reminiscences of the musical bow.

The group was accompanied by the singer Azarbe Curro Piñana, Cartagena, grandson of the legendary Antonio Piñana (father), patriarch and keeper of the Cantes Mining and son of guitarist Antonio Piñana (son).

The Evening Folk is an activity within paragraph worship of the National Folklore Festival that has been developing since 2002 as a commitment to other aspects of popular culture, with demonstrations of the so-called "roots music", under the name Evening Folk, from the beginning has enjoyed wide acceptance among Jumillano.

Since its inception, has received major groupings within the folk music scene at the national level and make this night is packed full of good rates.
