This popular initiative intended that the statute of Castilla La Mancha does not allow the repeal or revocation of the Tajo-Segura in 2015, and that this transfer is not a concession, by time, but is a bound duty for life, ie , have the right to receive water from the Tagus to the Segura water transfer through, and that it continue to manage the Commonwealth Taibilla Channel.

This platform is composed of people representative of the society of Murcia, and Andrés Hernández Ros, a former president of the CHS, Adolfo Fernández, Juan Ramón Calero, Tomás Zamora, people without being political, have been involved in political, social, economic and water.

People conveners of the meeting stressed that this initiative is of citizenship, without having anything to do with political parties.

The argument in Jumilla was the need to help get these 500,000 firms where they have until January, and do an organized and coordinated.

The only requirement to sign on these lists, in defense of the Tajo-Segura, is to be of age and be counted.
