ACEVIN presented in Madrid, news of "Wine routes in Spain 'to which it belongs Jumilla (21/09/2009)

The Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN) filed on 14 September in Madrid's new in the Product Club 'Wine Routes of Spain', which belongs Jumilla Wine Route.

New partners, new routes and interesting projects in collaboration with the 2009-2010 campaign will mark Turespaña Product Club, according to a press release sent by ACEVIN.

This presentation took place at an event attended by nearly two hundred people and attended by numerous media outlets, wine personalities, members of the different routes and Turespaña representatives and the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine , organizations that have lent their support and cooperation to this project since its inception.

José Fernando Sánchez Bódalo, president of the Spanish Association of Wine Cities (ACEVIN) introduced Sept. 14 in the Mansion of the Duke of Pastrana in Madrid, the new projects 'Wine Routes of Spain', a tourism product which main line of work is the promotion of culture and wine tourism as a complementary tool for local development, and has become the national benchmark of this new and flashy car model.

Bódalo Sánchez and announced the addition of three new wine tours: Ruta del Vino de Lleida, Ruta del Vino del Bierzo (León) and Ruta del Vino del Campo de Borja (Zaragoza).

These new routes are part of the Product Club as targets pilots in the new phase of the project will mark its launch in October.

This also increases the number of partners ACEVIN, a few months ago also confirmed the incorporation of municipalities of Villafranca de los Barros (Badajoz) and Yecla (Murcia), and the Balearic Government.

ACEVIN President also advanced the forthcoming implementation of the work for the implementation of SICTED (Integral System of Tourist Quality) in the thirteen wine routes that currently have ACEVIN certification.

Bódalo Sanchez was accompanied by Maria Josefa Lues Sordo, Deputy Director General of Food Promotion at the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs and the Deputy Director General of Foreign Marketing Promotion and Tourism Turespaña, Enrique Ruiz de Lera.

The latter confirmed the excellent partnership between ACEVIN and the General Secretariat of Tourism and announced the holding of the First International Congress on Tourism and Gastronomy expected in the first half of 2010, which also involved the Spanish Association of Wine Cities and bring together a large group of prominent personalities in the tourism sector and Spanish cuisine that will try to project the best way for the food and wine are one of the pillars of the future of tourism in our country.
