Jumilla has several youth correspondents of the two institutes of the city (09/10/2009)

Jumilla has several youth correspondents from the two local colleges.

This figure began last year with a high school student Archbishop Lozano and this year will be four people: two of the center and two high school Infanta Elena.

This is Roberto Pérez González and Juan Daniel Moreno Olivares IES Arzobispo Lozano and Ana Zaragoza Matthew Thomas and Lorenzo from IES Infanta Elena Abarca.

The purpose and function of these is to serve as youth correspondents contact between the groups and youth institutions and Jumilla.

As stated by the councilman of Youth José Luis Monreal, "the council is committed to this figure of the young reporter, together with the Institute for Youth, which will serve as a link between young people and information institutes Informajoven Jumilla Center ".

To coordinate this work, "Every week we hold a meeting to exchange information and ideas that will later be transmitted to young people in these youth correspondents," said Monreal.

"Youth Correspondent" is a regional program launched by the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia and the Department of Youth Jumilla City Council to inform young people and serve as liaison with groups, associations and institutions.

This program involves various ministries, universities, municipalities, through the Department of Youth and the Centers Informajoven and different institutes, libraries and museums in the region.

Youth correspondents are young students, intercultural mediators or guides who are primarily responsible for informing young people of calls, resources and activities that might interest them.

Correspondent function is to inform, Informajoven coordinated with their municipality and the Institute for Youth, all matters that may be of interest to young people, leisure, youth accommodation, scholarships and grants, studies, work addresses interest, publications, etc.
