From mid November until end of December is being developed in Jumilla, a machine shop in a promotion programs in depressed areas conducted by the Department of Social Policy.
The workshop with the participation of 15 persons of different nationalities, has a duration of 80 hours and is taught on the premises of IES Infanta Elena.
The councilman of Social Policy Mariana Gomez said that "it is a vocational training workshop aimed, like the kitchen, to the employment of groups that find it most difficult because of their special characteristics."
Gomez recalled that "this was one of the goals when I started as head of this council, technicians and program agree to this policy efforts."
Finally, the council noted that "in addition to the labor market also achieved the integration of people from Jumilla with immigrants."
For his part, Juan Pablo Martinez, in charge of this program has indicated that this workshop is intended to provide "a basic mechanics course, as practical as possible and that would accommodate all nationalities."
The monitor of the workshop indicated that it involved a heterogeneous group "as some participants have knowledge and tries to adapt to any background with each of the students."
On the contents, the monitor has indicated that "are doing things like removing an electrical component of a vehicle, parts recognition of an alternator, it checks to make this part of the vehicle engine and transmission work also , suspension and electrical parts. "
Finally, added that "the important thing is to adapt to student's profile and hours available to us with the basics."
