The Department of Trade of the City of Jumilla calls the II Love Letters on the occasion of the celebration of Jumilla Enamora 2010, Love Fair to be held from 12 to 14 February.
The deadline for submission of papers is 5 January and the letters should be addressed to the Office of Citizen Participation in the Artisan's House, Street Rico, 12 or by email to casadelartesano@jumilla.org.
As for the bases, people can participate from any country provided they present their works in Castilian and that these have not been published or awarded in other contests.
It will present works related to love in all its variables: true, platonic infatuation, heartbreak, passion, hatred, attachment, possession, jealousy, desire, a subsidiary ... On the other hand, can be directed to any recipient, for example: a husband, a girlfriend, in the eyes of the beloved, to the moon so funny you have a co-worker, Grenada, the sea, the port of Alicante, Jumilla wine ... and may not contain offensive or vulgar language .
The letter should have a title and signed with a pseudonym, the work should go hand-written letter, whose writing is legible and the extent of this letter will not be less than two A4 pages or more than 6 pages.
Papers must be submitted in person or by post, in a sealed envelope by mail.
Has established three awards: the first consisting of accommodation for two people at a hotel in Jumilla, dinner for two at a restaurant in Jumilla, a giant roll of love and a bottle of sweet wine from Jumilla.
The second prize will be a dinner for two at a restaurant in Jumilla, a giant roll of love and a bottle of sweet wine DO Jumilla and the third consisting of a giant roll of love and a bottle of sweet wine.
The awards ceremony will be held Friday February 12 at 20:00 pm in the Garden of King
Pedro de Jumilla.
The jury will consist of the councilman of Commerce of the City of Jumilla, a writer, a poet and two degrees in Language and Literature.
Participants in this contest give to the Department of Commerce, Hon.
Municipality of Jumilla, the right to exhibit and publish the papers submitted in this contest, especially in the official website of the city of Jumilla www.jumilla.org.
Last year there were about a hundred works of Malaga, Cadiz, San Sebastian, Ciudad Real, of course Jumilla, Huesca, and even Colombia.
The first award was for work 'Craftsman of my feelings' written by Isabel Garcia, Jaca (Huesca).
