The council carries out some works of architectural barriers for unemployed (09/02/2010)

Jumilla City Council is carrying out some work to eliminate architectural barriers to the recruitment of unemployed persons within the employment-generating policies of the local authority.

Thus, we have proceeded to the recruitment of six unemployed, of which three are pawns of a bricklayer and three first officers to carry out these works that are being developed mainly in the district of San Juan.

As stated by Councilman Services, Antonio Martinez and these works have been performed on some streets as Steam Mill, Goya, Labour and are now running on streets Foundation.

It plans to do so in the rest of the city and make the replacement of sidewalks in various areas of the municipality.

The recruitment is for a period of six months, from November 30 until 29 May, with the completion of 35 hours from Monday to Friday.

These actions are the result of a grant awarded by the Employment and Training Service (SEF), financed by the European Social Fund with a contribution of local government.

To apply for assistance, the Public Works Department prepared a report.

The total cost of this report amounts to 129,229 euros, of which 68,292 euros provided by the SEF for labor and the rest are assumed by the City for cost of materials and part of the workforce.
