With Solemn Stations of the Cross which took place last Friday, Good Friday, began in Jumilla a week of events relating to the Passion Week.
In addition to various religious celebrations and image transfers in recent days has been celebrated the Burrica Tamborada and Palm Sunday
The Way of the Cross was led by the Holy Christ of Forgiveness which toured various streets of the city, leaving the parish church of Santiago and near to the Church of the Savior.
At stations that make up this Stations of the Cross is able to contemplate the images of the Agony in the Garden, the Denial of St. Peter, Christ Humbled, the Crown of Thorns, Christ of the Judgement, the Christ of the Fall, Christ Mercy, Veronica, First Lady of Pain, Santa Maria Magdalena, the Christ of Termination, the Cristo de la Salud, Our Lady of Mercy and the Holy Sepulchre.
On Saturday night, was held the Burrica Tamborada, organized by the Brotherhood of Tambores Cristo de la Sangre.
After the celebration of the Eucharist in the Church of San Juan, started the parade in which hundreds of drummers took part in all ages.
The drum through the streets Pius XII, Square Rollo, Canovas del Castillo, Plaza de la Constitucion, San Roque and Salvador Pérez de los Cobos, until you reach the Plaza de Arriba.
Once there continued playing drums until dawn.
Also that day took place on transfer of the Brotherhood of the Scroll and On, San Juan and Lamentations.
Sunday saw the procession of the Palms which contains the apostles with Jesus, standing on the traditional Burrica and numerous children dressed as Jews who accompany him.
During the procession, Jesus is reciting the prophecy about the destruction of Jerusalem.
This procession involved, as well as various religious and civil authorities, representatives of all the brotherhoods, and the Central Board of the Brotherhood of Holy Week.
Easter Monday, there was the transfer of Christ Tied to the Column from the Parish of Saint James to its headquarters and is planning a concert of the Band of the Association of Friends of Music devoted to the procession of Arrest.
In the coming days will be held, among other acts, the penitential procession of Cristo de la Vida, or Procession of Silence, a representation of Jesus' Arrest, Arrest and Processions of Bitterness and the Procession to Calvary, the Holy Burial Redemption and Resurrection.
